Indastria Design was born in 2012 from an idea by interior designer Claudio Girardi supported by a teamwork with previous experiences in design, graphics and production, with the influence of Mies Van der Rohe’s belief that “less is more”.
The studio then began to move towards self-production with the aim of realizing customized furnishings through the smart use of materials and productive processes.
Self-production represents the evolution, and the supply chain is managed in a synergic way by a network of different professionals, free to experiment and innovate.
This union generates projects on the border between new technologies and Italian artisan heritage, representing the reality of “know-how” against the standardization of current design.
Objects with a strong narrative content characterized by references to the Italian heritage of arts and crafts and by a very fresh and contemporary allure: a new way of designing with ancient origins.
